Best ASRS Manufacturer & Supplier in Ahmedabad

An Automated Storage & Retrieval System (ASRS) consists of Computer Controlled & PLC based stacker crane driven system for automatically placing & retrieving materials from defined storage locations. The ASRS is generally used in situations involving high volumes of goods storage. It allows more storage space due to high-density storage & narrower aisles. It exploits the vertical height of each Warehouse. An ASRS based storage automation solution increases efficiency of Material Tracking, handling and overall throughput. Inventory is maintained on a FIFO basis and is managed through our advanced Inventory Management System, which also interfaces with the electromechanical components to optionally control the pick and place operations.

FEATURES:

  • Load management system
  • Improper positioning of material in tray in either axis
  • Auto calibrate shelves positions, when machine reboots or starts for first time
  • Automatic shutter doors
  • Display details of each tray in system on screen
  • Export data of total storage to excel file
  • Capture photo each time the tray is retrieved and sent back to its home position (Before/After)
  • Restricted user access through password for each transaction
  • Cart/Check-out/Check-in system for each transaction
  • Transaction using pen drive
  • Service or maintenance related pop-ups on screen
  • Manual mode/Auto Mode
  • Maintenance test run
  • Emergency stop
  • Light Curtains for maximum safety
  • Error Log

LOAD MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

When tray is retrieved and material is stored, while going back to its home position, first the lifting motor will run at lower speed generating torque and converting to weight of material stored in that tray. If weight of tray is under defined values then it will be stored to its home position at normal speed, or else tray will be returned back to worktable with error message “Overload” displayed on screen.

IMPROPER POSITIONING OF MATERIAL IN TRAY IN EITHER AXIS

Once material is stored and command for home is given, during the movement of tray on worktable, its height is measured using two height sensors placed on both sides of system. If the height is within permissible value then tray would be moved to its home position and if height is more than defined value then the tray will be returned back to worktable with error message displayed on screen. Similarly if any material is stored improperly in a way that it is coming out of tray’s periphery then tray will be returned back to worktable with error message on displayed on screen.

AUTO CALIBRATE SHELVES POSITIONS, WHEN MACHINE REBOOTS OR STARTS FOR FIRST TIME

When machine is powered ON, it will first auto calibrate itself in both directions (i.e. up to down and down to up) to understand the positions of all shelves. Also, same procedure will be repeated if a machine is rebooted in case of any power failure or system failure.

AUTOMATIC SHUTTER DOORS

Shutter door provided at back side of worktable will auto shut after each tray is moved IN/OUT on worktable. Auto shutter doors will open only when the sensor placed at bottom will sense the extracted tray at height equal to worktable.

DISPLAY DETAILS OF EACH TRAY IN SYSTEM ON SCREEN

When user gives command for tray extraction, details of each material stored in respective tray should be displayed on screen for ready reference with image. Also, there should be facility for the user to search and locate any material stored in system before giving extraction command.

EXPORT DATA OF TOTAL STORAGE TO EXCEL FILE

Data of all material stored should be exported to excel compatible file on user’s request with password.

CAPTURE PHOTO EACH TIME THE TRAY IS RETRIEVED AND SENT BACK TO ITS HOME POSITION (BEFORE/AFTER)

A camera placed above worktable will capture photo of complete tray each time it is called. Last five set of photos to be stored as backup.

RESTRICTED USER ACCESS THROUGH PASSWORD FOR EACH TRANSACTION

Each time system is awake, secured entry using user id and password is required. Also data of all transactions and entry is stored as a backup.

CART/CHECK-OUT/CHECK-IN SYSTEM FOR EACH TRANSACTION

If a user have to take or keep items, then check-out/Check-in cart system is required for easy access.

SERVICE OR MAINTENANCE RELATED POP-UPS ON SCREEN

All service or maintenance related instructions are popped-up on screen as per schedule set by us.

MANUAL MODE/AUTO MODE

Switch for Manual mode and Auto mode is required for easy convenience to operate in case of any system failure.

MAINTENANCE TEST RUN

A feature to be provided in which when a serviceman opts for maintenance test run, then all defined components and movements are run to help understand the running condition of system.

EMERGENCY STOP

During the access, in case of any emergency if a user presses emergency switch then whole system has to stop in as it is condition. And once emergency switch is relieved then operation may resume as it is.

LIGHT CURTAINS FOR MAXIMUM SAFETY

Light curtains are provided at front of worktable. When an individual crosses that proximity, machine will automatically stop as it is and won’t do any operation until that individual reaches safe limit. Also, a pop up message is displayed on screen for this time period.

ERROR LOG

An error log is created in background and stored as backup, which can be accessed by user on request.
